Le Maharajah sur Besancon

Excellent Indian cuisine. The dishes are atypical and well prepared. Not spicy like in India, the cuisine has taste. I had the maharajah menu. Bengan pakora, palak cream and basmati rice and a kulfi with an astonishing flavor are the dishes that I preferred in those served. Very good, sufficient quantity for me. 28 euros well spent. The restaurant has a thousand and one night decor and the atmosphere was great. Small downside for the server who was rude and in a hurry, not very attentive to customers. I think I will try their takeaway meal in the future rather than getting a fait good or a panini in the center.

Lots of flavors and spices. It was really good. For the rest it's true that it's a bit hasty but at least we don't wait.

The best Indian Pakistani restaurant in Besançon! Traditional Indian cuisine that is just perfect and which brings back very good “taste” memories every time! Very good value for money. I don't understand the opinions on the service because the service is fast which is really appreciable (unlike other restaurants where you wait for hours between each dish) and regarding the personality of the server in no case does he is unpleasant, just discreet and efficient in his service! And if you take the time to speak with him he is even very friendly! Plus, they do takeaway! In short, we eat there very often and always very, very good! Thanks to the whole team for their work!

Decent food, but rather rude service, which doesn't make you want to come back. If the waiter would bother to put a little more sparkle of joy in his eyes and smile on his lips, it would change the whole atmosphere for the better!!! :-)
