Hats off Chantal. A real challenge!
A tasteful tasting, varied, surprising flavors and a very friendly welcome.
The VH, set menu and vegetarian menu were appreciated by all our guests, and what can we say about the superb and delicious cake.
The staff, very discreet, efficient, attentive and very friendly, were able to adapt to unforeseen requests.
Congratulations to Chantal and her entire team.

We chose Kaf des Vieux Amants as the caterer for our wedding which took place in June 2024. We fell in love after meeting Chantal in 2023!
Chantal was extremely professional from start to finish, the organization was very simple and smooth. On the big day, nothing to complain about, everything was perfect! The service team was very attentive and very friendly. The dishes were delicious, our guests enjoyed themselves and the plates were empty :).
We recommend with your eyes closed!

01/06/2024: A restaurant that is just super good!! I highly recommend.
The waiter recommended a dish with crazy value for money, and also the dish was incredible. (Half roast chicken and fries)
Fast and efficient service! (For 5 people)
Homemade fries that are just the best of a lifetime, absolutely worth trying. (Small plus for the waiter who gave us an extra tray of fries).
Nothing more to add just go for it!!!

09/07/2024: Wir waren mit Freunden in dem sehr kleinen charmanten, typisch französischen Bistro essen. Es gibt nur eine Tafel mit einem kleinen Menü aus Salat und frischem Baguette mit hausgemachten, sehr schmackhaften französischen Terinen aus Schweinefleisch und als Hauptgerichte Lasagne oder ein sehr schmackhafter Kartoffelauflauf mit Käse, Sahne, Speck und herzhafter Wurst für 25,00 Euro! Wir hatten eine Flasche Landwein für 18,00 Euro und alle anderen Getränke kosteten je 4,00 Euro 😊 tolles kleines Lokal dekoriert mit Bildern von französischen Stars. Etwas grummelnder Wirt aber trotzdem professionell und sympathisch! Wir würden wieder hingehen! Unbedingt reservieren!

30/06/2024: Très bon dans l'ensemble, mais la qualité du service est à revoir. On sent une volonté de faire un maximum de couverts au point de pousser les clients dehors après une heure seulement en salle... c'est dommage, car on y mange plutôt bien, avec possibilité de manger végétarien.

07/07/2024: Het eten was echt niet zo lekker: de crumbles zijn misschien een ding maar wij vonden dit echt teleurstellen (ook wat aangebrand). In de gratin zat ook niet veel kip (of worst in de andere variant).

Simply great! Wonderful service, very good hygienic standards. The menus are well thought through and obviously made by a passionate cook.
Prices absolutely fine for such a nice experience :) will be back again, thank you!

29/06/2024: Une rue, un lieu assez désertique. Deux trois tables dressées dehors. On a faim! Pas une âme dehors,on s'avance quand-même, on lit la carte. Elle est prometteuse. Alors on s'installe, c'est là que tout commence.
De l'amuse bouche au dessert, nous allons de surprise en surprise tant les plats, la Marguerite de poisson, le tartare de cabillaud à la mangue, la truite en balottine et le steack de Saint Jacques pétillent de saveurs fraîches et succulentes. Sans oublier la composée d'abricots et sa glace vanille.
L'accueil, le service au top. Tout y était pour passer un chouette moment à table.

10/07/2024: We were well received. It was cozy with a good atmosphere. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty and was well supplemented with an assortment of Japanese drinks (in addition to the well-known drinks). Please note, the "very big rolls" are for people with a big mouth 😄. The Japanese lemonade was served in a nice bottle with a ball in it. We were allowed to take this home as a souvenir, thanks again for this.
You should definitely visit this place if you are a sushi lover, but it is also a very good place to eat for people who are new to Japanese cuisine.
