Le Maquis sur Paris

Good but not cheap; the bill adds up quickly in the evening.. around 70€/person (50 a few months ago..) Quick and unsmiling welcome. Don't bother the gentleman too much!

Great small French restaurant with amazing food that was great value. The set menu was 70 euro for 7-8 course in Sep 2024. Lovely staff too who went the extra mile

A place that I love. At lunch a nice menu at very reasonable prices and in the evening a tasting menu which changes regularly. It’s good, it’s delicate, and there is a real identity in this cuisine. If you don't know it yet, it's urgent to try. I almost forgot: the wines! It is wise to make a reservation as it fills up quickly.

We found Le Marquis online, I believe through Eater Paris and it was the best meal of our trip. First, the ambiance is romantically simple and cozy, it has few tables so make sure you have a reservation. The pre fix menu was fresh, creative and absolutely delicious. Had a bottle of wine I actually loved (and I’m not a wine drinker…sorry Paris). The prices were great too…a meal like this in LA would be significantly more. If I could take the tempura squash blossoms with cheese and anchovies with me back to LA I would…thanks for being the delight of my trip!

Lovely dinner with our family. Delicious and inventive dishes using seasonal products. Great service. We hadn’t realized it was a set menu but they accommodated allergies and our child’s tastes.
