Le Marmiton Berrichon sur Bourges

Passing through Bourges on a Thursday evening, we happened to have dinner at this restaurant. The steak tartare was excellent, well-seasoned, and the ribeye steak was perfectly aged. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the music playlist was great. We highly recommend it.

Lunch on a Sunday. Three dishes and one dessert were missing from the menu. Understandable, perhaps this should have been mentioned beforehand? Otherwise, everything was fine. In response below: We pointed this out politely when we ordered. Thank you to the staff. Let's avoid using rude language.

Delicious homemade potato pie and burgers. Nice selection of desserts. We'll be back.

Dinner as part of the Printemps de Bourges festival. Local Berry products. The potato pie starter was excellent, and a special mention goes to the homemade tarte tatin for dessert. The service was a little disorganized, but the owner and staff were friendly. We had a lovely evening on the terrace in a very pleasant setting.

We were almost the first to arrive and didn't have to wait at all. The service was quick, and the calf's head dish was very well served—plenty and delicious. We ordered the full menu: appetizer, main course, dessert, and a small jug of red wine. The only downside is that there's no high chair for a baby or toddler.

A perfect romantic evening thanks to this meal! Absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable! I don't know the name of the waitress who took care of us last night, but she was a gem 😘

We went there last night, a party of four. We received a very warm welcome. The service was admittedly a little slow, but it didn't bother us (it's a small restaurant with just the cook and the waitress, so that's understandable). The dishes were generous and very good (Marmiton burger, roasted Camembert, and grilled ham with Guinness) for a very reasonable price. We will definitely go back when we return to Bourges.

I had lunch there yesterday. The food was good value for money. However, a few kind words and a smile from the staff would have been much appreciated. The service was nonexistent!
