Endroit parfait pour un déjeuner en famille. Menu simple et efficace qui a plu à tout le monde. Très bons produits, cuisine maison. Accueil et service très agréables. Lieu propre.

While passing through Ussel we had lunch at “Le Marmontel” and what a surprise. Very warm welcome, homemade meal, regional cheese platter with explanations. Starter, main course, cheese, dessert 16 euros well done because it's rare

Typical trattoria for business lunches. Good quality food, generous portions. 18 euro fixed price and menu that includes both the wonderful cheeses and dessert.

22/11/2024: We were lucky enough to be able to spend a night in the heart of this castle, my companion and I. The decor is splendid, warm, the facade of the castle is magnificent. The bedding is very pleasant. The decor is tastefully done. The breakfast is very good and the staff is attentive. An unforgettable moment.

24/08/2024: Ayant appris que le propriétaire avait changé, nous sommes retournés dans ce restaurant. Le précédent propriétaire était un critère redibitoire pour nous. Nous avons pris les burgers (un végétarien et l'autre à la truite) et avons été heureusement surpris : c'est délicieux et très copieux. Les produits sont de très bonne qualité, truite, pain bio, crudités, patates dorées à souhait. La serveuse est très sympa et cherche vraiment à satisfaire sa clientèle. Top. Il faudrait juste mettre le menu à l'extérieur (il est à l'intérieur à l'entrée du magasin) et donner un petit coup de peinture à l'extérieur pour donner un peu envie de rentrer. Là l'extérieur ne fait pas envie alors qu'à l'intérieur c'est sympa.

The welcome from the waitress is very pleasant, the complete menu for 16.50 euros was perfect, with healthy and homemade cuisine (veal escalope as main course). In addition, a nice surprise from the very pretty terrace! I strongly recommend
