We were delighted to eat in this cozy space with its simple cuisine that evoked childhood memories. There's a set menu, but it can be slightly modified to suit individual tastes (which I thought was fantastic). Thank you for the warm welcome, kindness, and smiles.

We visited this restaurant in Ursel during our stopover in France. It was packed, but there was just enough room for a table for two. We had barely sat down when our drinks arrived, and from then on, we were spoiled with pumpkin soup (self-serve from the large soup bowl), followed by a starter with lentils, eggs, and sausages, a main course of stew and potatoes, a cheese board (self-carving), and homemade flan for dessert. Coffee afterwards, and all this for €20 per person! Super nice welcome and service 👍🏻

Excellent value for money. Getting off the motorway to have lunch there is a great idea. The owner is very friendly. The owner's wife cooks like she would at home – simple, delicious, and efficient. Don't miss it!
