A traditional restaurant where the staff are friendly and the food is delicious!

The food was really good, but there's still room for improvement. Keep it authentic.

We were there for lunch on Thursday, August 27, 2026, with five people. We sat outside on the terrace and had a great view. The service was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was busy, and the atmosphere among the guests was also very pleasant. There was a lot of laughter. A lovely restaurant. The dishes all looked delicious, and the portions were very generous. I had a cordon bleu with roasted vegetables and French fries. I also had a German non-alcoholic beer. I was very happy with my meal and would gladly recommend this restaurant. The selection is extensive, and everyone else was also very satisfied with their choices. The cappuccino afterward was a special treat. I would even call it a dessert. So, if you want to enjoy authentic Alsatian cuisine, this is the place to go. Many thanks to the entire team at "Le Marronnier."

The food is excellent, but the service, while friendly, is rushed. We barely finished our aperitif before the starter arrived. Give us a chance to breathe and enjoy our evening at the restaurant! When you pay €14.90 for a glass of wine, you'd expect it to be served at least when the main course arrives, without having to wait and ask for it. You advertise a superb wine list, especially by the glass, but because the service is either too fast for the main courses or too slow for the wines, we can't truly appreciate them. The wine should be served before the main course. It's a shame. If everything were coordinated, it would be perfect.

Delicious food. The fries were perfect, and the chicken nuggets were homemade—always a good sign. The chicken livers were excellent, as was the dressing. All in all, a wonderful birthday for my mother. The atmosphere was lovely, and the service was superb. The restaurant is located at a roundabout, which didn't bother us at all. The terrace is still highly recommended. We spent €160 for three adults and two children, and we didn't skimp on either the food or the drinks. The price-performance ratio was therefore excellent for us. Thank you for the lovely lunch.

A wonderful discovery, with delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and a lovely team. The restaurant is dog-friendly, which is a real plus for us!

What a delightful surprise this restaurant was! We hadn't planned on finding it. The welcome on the terrace was very friendly. The staff offered helpful advice, and the owner was clearly passionate. The cuisine, while traditional, surprised us with its originality. A big thank you to everyone.
