Since everyone's talking about couscous, I'll tell you about calf's head, a specialty of the Berry region, increasingly hard to find. Prepared the old-fashioned way, it's served in a generous portion—a real treat for those who appreciate it.
I sometimes make the trip, no matter the distance, to get two portions to take away and enjoy at home. The menu price is very reasonable for a proper restaurant outing, leaving you feeling full and your taste buds delighted. The welcome is also warm and old-fashioned, giving you the feeling of being in a traditional French country restaurant, just like in the old days. 👌
A fantastic time, top-notch service, super friendly. We enjoyed a delicious meal in front of the cozy wood-burning stove – charming!
Highly recommended!
Passing through on the way to vacation, on Friday evening, only one couscous dish. Very well served 😊, there could easily be three of us on the dish.
The couscous is good, the welcome is friendly, and the wood fire too.
