We received a very warm welcome, the suckling pig was absolutely delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and we definitely plan to return as soon as possible. We made the trip from Nice to enjoy this meal and we were not disappointed.

Pleasant, French cuisine... a friendly and simple atmosphere, a wood-burning stove, generous and high-quality portions... The owner is warm and welcoming, clearly passionate about his work, and will introduce you to his rums!

Arriving without a reservation, just the two of us, the owner told us there might be a bit of a wait... we didn't feel it at all... the mojitos for an aperitif were great! 👍 For starters, calamari fritters, classic, just the sauce wasn't amazing. For the main course, sea bream, grilled perfectly, with excellent sides (risotto and seasonal vegetables, just a little more would have been perfect as it was very good 😁) and an Aveyron burger, also excellent. For dessert, flambéed banana with a little shot of rum and very nice profiteroles (a bit pricey, but justified by the quality and quantity!). Definitely worth a return visit.

Le Mélagais is a great find! The atmosphere is pleasant and family-friendly, the food is delicious, and the cocktails are classic... but perfectly balanced. A welcoming spot to enjoy a good meal and indulgent desserts.
And above all, at the end of your meal, don't forget to ask for the owner's small glass of rum! 😉

We had lunch here for Mother's Day and had a wonderful time. The welcome was warm, the service professional and excellent. The food was very good, with delicious meats cooked over a wood fire. The owner and the whole team are very friendly. We will gladly return!
