We came to eat on a Sunday evening (election night) on the street where the town hall is located... The atmosphere was certainly lively! 😂 We were in Nîmes for a funeral and chose Le Ménestrel after searching for good restaurants in Nîmes.
Well, it wasn't just good, no!
It was excellent in every way! 👍 Not to mention the kindness of the owners. 😀 We'll definitely be back! 😉👌

A lovely, simple, and welcoming place. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant.
The atmosphere is truly inviting, and you immediately feel at ease.
The real highlight is the service: friendly and efficient, which makes the experience smooth and enjoyable from beginning to end. You can feel a genuine desire to do things well and a natural hospitality that is a pleasure to see.
As for the food, the dishes are high quality, and the value for money is excellent. It's the kind of place you'll happily return to for a relaxing evening with friends or a romantic dinner for two.

Fantastic experience at La Taverne! A wide selection of tapas to share, flavorful, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared.
The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, ideal for spending quality time with friends or as a couple. The service is pleasant and attentive, making the experience even better.
👉 The food is excellent, the atmosphere is great, and we definitely want to come back.
