A lovely little restaurant with a warm welcome from both the owner and the chef.
The decor remains true to the style of his small-town restaurants, adding to the charm of the place and in no way detracting from the quality of the service and the food.
The menu offers something for everyone, and its (limited) selection hints at the quality. We sampled the foie gras, razor clams, cuttlefish stew, steak, and a pavlova. Everything was delicious. We also appreciated the fact that the owner was free to choose the wine. We had a wonderful time.

On September 5th, my brother and I went to dinner at the Menhir restaurant in Avrillé. As usual, the cuisine is refined, but tonight our taste buds were truly delighted by Elvire's cooking. The stuffed razor clams were a stunning starter, and her lamb was absolutely divine. Don't hesitate to visit the Menhir restaurant to experience a truly exceptional culinary adventure. Last Friday, we went to Le Menhir for dinner as a family, the night before my son's wedding. We had a wonderful time, full of laughter thanks to the owner's humor, and above all, we thoroughly enjoyed the food. The cooking prepared by the owner's wife was delicious. I highly recommend this excellent restaurant.

Returning to this restaurant two years later, the experience was once again exceptional. I wouldn't lie and say I ate the best ribeye steak of my life, and that's coming from a meat lover! Every dish was incredible; every plate was finished, even the children's. The wines are very well selected, the portions generous, everything homemade with passion—an unforgettable culinary experience!
I'm writing this review while reading your book, J-P, which is a very enjoyable read and so full of truths we all face. May God bless you and your family, and may you flourish in your lives. I will definitely return on my next visit to this beautiful region. Hugs from Normandy

This restaurant is well worth a visit, very welcoming and absolutely delicious. The owners are incredibly kind and the food is homemade! The service is impeccable. No wait at all, even when the restaurant was full.

A wonderful discovery! An authentic restaurant where we had a truly excellent meal. The atmosphere pleasantly reminded us of restaurants from the 70s, full of charm and character. The owner is very friendly, warm, and has a great sense of humor, which made the experience even more enjoyable. A place where you feel right at home, and one we wholeheartedly recommend!
