The mussels are to die for! Generous portions, fantastic location, and friendly service! The homemade sorbets and desserts are also very good. I highly recommend it. Remember to call ahead to reserve, as it's very popular in the summer.

Excellent restaurant with impeccable and precise service. Friendly and helpful staff. We tried three varieties of mussels, and each was more delicious than the last, as were the oysters. The chocolate mousse was perfect.

Warm welcome, fresh produce, excellent cuisine, very good rosé wine, pavlova dessert, and the little Jesus in velvet breeches—I highly recommend it, especially to tourists.

During our weekend in Fréjus, we ate at this restaurant twice and had absolutely no complaints. The mussels marinière and mussels in cream sauce were the best we've ever had. We recommend it 100% and we'll definitely be back.

We had a wonderful time at Le Mérou Ardent. The welcome and service were excellent, friendly and quick despite the crowd. The food was truly delicious and very good value for money.
