Le Merou Ardent sur Frejus

Excellent place, superb food, responsive staff. Highly recommended.

We hadn't been back in a long time. Nothing has changed, except it's even better. The welcome...the food...the atmosphere. To top it all off, you must visit the delicatessen next door. Thank you to the whole team.

Looking to enjoy delicious and original dishes in a very pleasant atmosphere? "Le Mérou Ardent" in Fréjus, right on the seafront, is the perfect place where you definitely won't be disappointed! 👍🏻👍🏻 My parents and I have been there and will definitely go back! 🤗

Everything was truly perfect: - the beachfront location - the comfortable furniture and peaceful atmosphere - the attentive and efficient service - the quality of the food. There were five of us with quite different tastes, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. A special mention goes to the pasta Provençal dish, prepared to order because I'm vegetarian; it was divine, I think I'll be dreaming about it for a long time! (Don't forget to compliment the kitchen for me!) We will gladly return on our next trip to Saint-Raphaël; it was a truly wonderful experience. Edit October 2026: We came with a new group of friends, and everyone left with their taste buds tingling. Whether it was the mussels, the bouillabaisse (a real banger!), the whole sea bass, or my famous pasta with garlic tomato sauce, everyone left with stars in their mouths. Count on us being back next year!

Nice little restaurant, The waitresses were very friendly. Big disappointment with the food: the aioli and the mixed fish were both overcooked. The plate was certainly kept warm somehow, but the potatoes and fish were far too cooked and dried out. We pointed this out, to which we were told that no one had mentioned it before, but they offered no apology. What a shame...

Great find! You're gaining new customers. We were completely satisfied. Well done!

The staff were very friendly and attentive to customers.

A fantastic place! We had a wonderful time. The mussels were excellent and fresh. The atmosphere is really pleasant and the value for money is excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Great restaurant. Mainly fish and shellfish. Excellent children's menu. Top-notch service and welcome.

A pleasant surprise at this restaurant! The food is delicious and beautifully presented, and the service is very friendly. A bit pricey, but highly recommended as it's a lovely experience 😊
