We discovered this restaurant by chance. Excellent. We highly recommend it. The homemade mussels were superb. And the desserts were amazing! I didn't usually like lemon, but I tried the lemon-honey tiramisu and it changed my mind about lemon. The staff and owner are incredibly friendly. Go without hesitation, don't miss this restaurant!

What a wonderful experience! Although the online opening hours caused some confusion, we decided to call ahead to inquire if there was availability for lunch. Luckily we did, because we had a truly fantastic meal here.
The fish and seafood were super fresh and prepared with great care and craftsmanship. From the starter to the dessert, it was pure enjoyment. The service was incredibly friendly, attentive, and created a very welcoming atmosphere. If you are near Saint-Raphaël/Fréjus and love a really good, traditional fish lunch, you absolutely must not miss this place.

We had a lovely time at Le Mérou Ardent with very charming and attentive staff. We had reserved a table and let them know we were coming with a stroller. We were seated in a strategic spot so as not to disturb anyone, which made us feel very comfortable.
We ordered mussels with Roquefort cheese. The sauce was generous and flavorful.
I highly recommend it!

The restaurant is well-priced. The mussels and fries were good. The staff were welcoming, although their tone was a bit curt at times.
We had a good time.

We ate at Le Mérou Ardent this year. We ordered mussels marinière, but in our opinion, the recipe wasn't followed. They used onions instead of shallots, and there was far too much butter in the sauce. A shame.

The welcome was excellent, the service provided by people who genuinely want to do a good job and have plenty of experience. This is also reflected in the food, with dishes prepared with care. Far from being a tourist trap, this is quality cuisine.

A unique experience, a perfectly clean and well-maintained restaurant, an ambiance that reflects the cuisine, incredible flavors, and excellent service.
I recommend this restaurant 100%. Without hesitation, especially for a seaside location, it's absolutely not a tourist trap.
