Le Messimo sur Quingey

The little annual family outing is always a pleasure even if the smile for the service is sometimes less present than others, we eat great pizzas and good, hearty salads.

Finally a good calzone with fresh mushrooms! Copious (I couldn't finish it). Thank you very much, if I have to come back to the Quingey campsite I will not hesitate to come back. Very nice continuation to you

While passing through the campsite in this town we ate here. Excellent and plentiful pizzas. I highly recommend.

We showed up at Messimo at 7 without prior reservation. Although it was past 8 p.m., we were received without any problem. The pizzas are, well served, good and large for a fair price. The burger, also well served, was appreciated. The children were not asked to finish their menu (chopped steak and fries + ice cream). For dessert, we finished with ice cream sundaes. The staff were very welcoming and pleasant. So there is nothing to complain about!

We had lunch there as a family with 2 children. The staff was not particularly pleasant. I still don't understand why, under the pretext that we had not reserved, we were put inside while tables outside were available. We had lunch with flies who spoiled our lunch while other customers who had not reserved either and the same number as us (4) were placed on the terrace. I won't try the experience again. The pizzas are not bad but far from the best we have eaten.

The square is rather inconspicuous and some of the buildings around it are in a less attractive condition. The service was friendly. Unfortunately, the salad was only served with/shortly after the main course. This is not an appetizer. The pizza itself was unspectacular but tasty.

Very good pizza, well-cooked crust AND NOT TOO MUCH food on it (the French like that, but it degrades real pizza). On the subject of Irish coffee our ideas clashed, but they still gave me my own version.,,,😁😁😁😁
