Le Millénaire sur Reims

My 2nd time visiting Le Millénaire in a year. Delightfully satisfied by the food options, the service, and the wine selections. Best option in Reims!

A very good standard menu if you don't want to eat vegetarian, everyone wants to order the same meal, and you speak French well. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the vegetarian menu. It contains almost no protein and very few carbohydrates, and it also lacked finesse for my taste. The cheese course and bread are the only options if you want to feel full. My companions, on the other hand, really enjoyed the standard menu. During the booking process, I was informed via email that they were "fully booked," so I made a reservation for the exact time I requested through the website and entered our various menu preferences in the comments section. Luckily, that worked out.

We had a wonderful time at this Michelin-starred restaurant. The dishes were refined, perfectly executed, and the flavor combinations were remarkable. The service was also excellent, meeting all our expectations. However, we were very disappointed by the sommelier's attitude. Although we had chosen a wine pairing, I asked to replace a red wine with a white wine, as I don't drink red. This request was refused without any real explanation or attempt to find a solution. In an establishment of this caliber, we expected more flexibility and attentiveness to make the experience truly personalized. This has never been refused to me in any restaurant, Michelin-starred or not. It's regrettable, as this attitude somewhat marred an otherwise impeccable dining experience.

A wonderful family experience: diversity, inventiveness, delicious food, a great wine list, friendly service—everything was perfect. Congratulations to the new team! It deserves recognition in a certain Michelin guide... I returned more recently in July 2026, and it was truly perfect, both the food and the service. The Michelin Guide recognition is richly deserved.

A bit pricey for a 1-star restaurant considering the quality of the food offered.

Second visit 3 months later, but this time with the children… still 5 stars! An exceptional, revamped menu and a top-notch team. Thank you… 5 stars for this 1-star restaurant! As lovers of fine cuisine, we were delighted by our discovery of this restaurant! The finesse and boldness in the composition of the dishes are surprising at first glance but provide immense pleasure on the palate. Not a single misstep on the 5-course menu, and a special mention for the cheese platter, which is truly impressive. It's impossible to say no when it's presented. We had a very pleasant time, thanks also to the entire front-of-house team (a warm welcome and service that was pleasant without being overbearing, always perfectly pitched). We will definitely return to share this restaurant with others. Bravo to the chefs and all the teams! Thank you also to the sommelier for the excellent recommendation of a Blanc de Blancs (I've included the reference in the photo).

A stunning restaurant. Both the kitchen and the service staff know what they are doing. Tasty and beautifully presented dishes. Everything was served at a nice pace. The wait staff and sommelier provided all the information and attention needed for a wonderful evening. Upon request, everything was explained in French, and where necessary, things were repeated in English. We enjoyed it immensely!

Food excellent. The vegetable menu is very good, though a bit on the salty side if you aren't used to salt. Extensive use of herbs. Pace is good, service correct. A bit of a boring restaurant, but it does have air conditioning (happy about that, as it was 38 degrees that day). One downside: all those dull dried flower bouquets. Replace them with something more cheerful, because after a few years everything has turned a uniform white. Nothing to complain about regarding this restaurant, had a very good meal.

The cuisine was of exceptional quality, a blend of flavors. My wife and I opted for the Ancestral menu, which consisted of five different courses served without our input. This was a very good concept, allowing us to experience flavors we wouldn't have otherwise encountered. The combinations of flavors were very surprising. Bravo to the chef and his team! The service was excellent, and the staff were attentive and very friendly. Thank you for this wonderful evening.
