Le Millénaire sur Reims

An absolutely exceptional culinary experience! Yesterday we chose the Ancestral menu and were amazed by our meal, from the appetizers to the petit fours! The dishes were as beautiful as they were delicious, and we also greatly appreciated the attentive service, which included adapting one of the dishes to my dietary preferences. We will gladly return on our next trip to Reims.

There were three of us, and we ordered the vegetarian menu three times. It was a great decision; the menu was truly excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed it! Another great thing – the mineral water wasn't charged at the usual exorbitant prices, but was included in the menu price. All this combined with a relaxed atmosphere and impeccable, yet attentive and unobtrusive service! We would have gladly given it six stars! We'll definitely be back!

A very warm welcome awaits you at this restaurant with its soothing decor. The staff is highly professional, well-coordinated, efficient, and attentive. The dishes are very good; however, I didn't find the same delightful surprises in the flavors I've experienced in other Michelin-starred establishments.

We opted for the "Millennium" seven-course tasting menu, which we discovered blind. It was a feast: three starters, including an exceptional langoustine—the best I've ever had—a fish course, a flavorful scorpionfish, a meat course, a perfect beef fillet, and two delicious desserts (apricot and strawberry). I was displeased that, on a beautiful sunny day in early September, my attire was deemed "inappropriate." I was wearing mint-green dress shorts and a white shirt. It turns out that The Fork didn't specify that shorts should be avoided. Women are allowed to show their legs, so why not men? Our neighbors at the next table were wearing hiking-style trousers with side pockets, and that was considered perfectly acceptable. The service was unpleasant.

We had a fantastic evening. The service was very skilled and attentive, all courses were exceptional and varied, and the wines were excellent.
