Le Mirval sur La Brigue

Very clean, good breakfast with eggs and fresh juice and much more, comfortable bed. Good place for a few days hiking in the mountains. Nice village with a decent restaurant some bars and a Sunday market.

Nice small place in La Brigue, very modest

We stayed one night at this hotel. The room was a bit dated, clean at first glance, but upon closer inspection, there was still work to be done (cobwebs on the ceiling, black bathroom grout, and un-wiped faucets). The bedding was comfortable. The major problem was breakfast. It's served until 9:30 a.m. We arrived in the breakfast room at 8:50 a.m. and were quite surprised to find the buffet practically empty. When I asked if they could replenish it, I was told: "You see what time you arrived! I've already put out 35 pastries, so if there's nothing left, then too bad for you!" It's a shame because the hotel is well located in the village.

The hotel is beautiful, with breathtaking views of the mountains right in front. The rooms are super clean and the bathroom is huge. It's a very peaceful place, perfect for relaxing after a nice hike.
