Good value for money, adjoining rooms for children and two bathrooms for only €114. The rooms are small, but acceptable for the price. Cleanliness was OK, and it was quiet as the room overlooked the parking lot. The reception was adequate, the breakfast was good value, and the staff were very friendly.

Excellent stay! The hotel is very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with a warm welcome upon arrival. In addition, the restaurant is equally remarkable: delicious dishes, quality ingredients, and impeccable service. All in all, a wonderful experience; I highly recommend it!

Spotlessly clean and lovely staff. Slightly random in the way it was run and organised but a nice place to stay in Blois. I sense it has changed hands and would probably benefit from more hands-on management, but I may be wrong.

Excellent and accommodating; I didn't have a room available before 9 pm and was able to find one very quickly for the same evening. A very pleasant hotel with a comic book theme. As a big fan, I really enjoyed it. The welcome was warm and professional.

A stay at the Monarque is a bit like stepping into a comic strip… but in ultimate comfort. From the moment you arrive, the welcome is warm, genuine, almost intimate—you can tell that here, hospitality isn't just a slogan, it's a way of life. The room is immaculate, quiet, spotlessly clean, with bedding so comfortable you seriously hesitate to venture out again. The hotel is ideally located; everything is within walking distance, without any unnecessary noise or hustle and bustle. A true haven, perfectly isolated from the hustle and bustle, where sleep becomes a tranquil luxury. And then there's the magic of the place: the entire hotel pays homage to comics, with a particular fondness for Tintin. For my part, I had the privilege of sleeping in the Milou room—a faithful companion, absolute calm, peaceful nights guaranteed. No barking, just sweet dreams. The Monarque is a wonderful discovery: comfortable, original, inspired, and deeply endearing. You come for one night, you leave wanting to return… and with a smile that lingers long after the last photo. A hotel with a soul. And that's not so common.

Excellent location, but don't go for the view or the understaffed service. Rooms were fine.
