Le Montaigu sur Missillac

We dined last night at Le Montaigu, nestled in the heart of the Domaine de la Bretesche, and the experience was simply exceptional. The six-course menu captivated us with the finesse and balance of the dishes. Each plate was exquisitely precise and refined, without ever feeling heavy, a characteristic sometimes associated with tasting menus. The wine pairings perfectly complemented the entire meal: the sommelier, despite being a recent addition to the establishment, demonstrated remarkable professionalism, excellent advice, attentiveness, and exceptional charm. A special mention must also go to the restaurant manager and his entire team, who created an atmosphere that was both elegant and relaxed. There was no pretentious ambiance, but rather a genuine spirit of conviviality, making the experience all the more enjoyable. A huge congratulations to the entire team for their superb work: we left with unforgettable memories and a definite desire to return. P.S.
