A menu of exquisite originality, dishes of great delicacy, expertly blended and measured spices, discreet but impeccable service, and a beautiful setting, the Montanais is well worth the detour! From a 4-course menu at 60 euros, which is well worth it, we upped the bill with the appetizers, wines, and digestifs.

We had a great time. It was an explosion of flavors, from the appetizers to the coffee, in an elegant setting. We congratulated the chef.

Superb restaurant surrounded by vineyards. If you're passing through Gaillac and the surrounding area, head to Le Montanais. Delicious produce, unique menu. Interesting use of spices. Perfectly cooked fish and meat. A delight! Great recommendations for local wines to enjoy with dinner.
