Le Monto'zar sur Saint-Genest-Malifaux

20/08/2024: We had a great time. The welcome is friendly. The cuisine is excellent and the warm setting. You can go there, you will not be disappointed.

20/08/2024: Superb place, overlooking the dam. The room is warm and the service efficient, even a little too efficient. There were around twenty of us and we had pre-ordered our menus. People who had not taken the formula with aperitif and glass of wine were not offered an aperitif. The starters arrived almost at the same time as the few aperitifs. Impossible to know which wine was served with the formulas. The dish was OK but the fish was way overcooked and the fries were very greasy. The desserts were very good. Our table was cleared before everyone had gotten up to leave. Yes, the restaurant closes at 3:30 p.m. and the hours are strict. A multitude of little things to improve in the mutual interest of customers and young owners which could make this place a place worthy of its setting.
