Disappointing Experience Despite the Great Location
The location of the hotel is incredible, and we really enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi and sauna. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.
When we arrived, the room didn’t look like the pictures advertised, and it was freezing cold upon entry. There was no hair dryer provided, and we couldn’t charge our car, which was an inconvenience. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing, and the service overall was below expectations.
For a price of €270 per night (booked through Staycation), we expected much better. While the setting was stunning, the lack of attention to detail and poor service made the experience not worth the cost.

2nd anniversary that we are celebrating at the restaurant, the team is still as welcoming and intentional with spontaneity thank you 🙏
The setting is warm, spacious room arranged with great taste! And what's more, perfectly mastered cuisine 🧑🍳 excellent value for money, we will come back.

The weather conditions were not good and yet the whole stay was a real delight. Superb room with a huge spa bath. Excellent meal with piano atmosphere. Beautiful walks in the surrounding area. A truly exceptional building. Excellent welcome.

We had a large group fixed menu meal here and they did a decent job of service and with the food. Everything seemed to be one at a time and some folks after the meal tea was delivered after we were starting to leave.

While the food generally was good, with the exception of raw skin on the turbot which is a basic cooking error, the poor service lets this restaurant down. One of the serving staff in particular was surly and downright rude, which spoiled the evening somewhat. Our worst dining experience in 3 weeks of travelling around France. We had considered staying here next year, but will now avoid.
