A stop that has become a must on the way back after the D-Day commemorations each year. The setting is particularly pleasant, full of charm and offering a beautiful view of the river. The restaurant itself is housed in a truly beautiful setting, with a thoughtful layout and decor that perfectly complements the character of the place. The welcome and service were warm and efficient throughout the meal. The dishes were well-prepared and met my expectations. An address I return to every year with pleasure for its ambiance and unique setting in the heart of Bayeux. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful spot on the river. Truly beautiful. Excellent service, friendly and helpful staff, who spoke fluent English. Excellent food. A lunch to remember.

Forestière • Loved the combination of bacon, hazelnuts, onions, and pesto. • A unique galette with lots of flavor. • Definitely the one I would recommend ordering! Drinks: Cidre de Bayeux à la Pression • A delicious local draft cider. • Crisp, refreshing, and a great introduction to Normandy. Jonathan and I came here on our very first night in France. It was a nice introduction to two Normandy staples: galettes and cider. The restaurant itself was adorable, with heated outdoor seating, cozy blankets for guests, and even a friendly kitten wandering around. The service was pleasant, and the atmosphere was charming. While the food didn’t completely wow me, I enjoyed the experience overall and thought it was a lovely way to start our trip. Date Visited: 4/14/2026

Best crepeirie in Bayeux!! Get reservations to insure you get to eat here. Many options for savory and sweet crepes. Staff was very polite and patient. Service was awesome, from the wait staff to the bar tender!! I highly recommend eating dinner here!!!

Oh Wow!!!!!! I had seen this place was good but it went above my expectations. We arrived on a warm busy evening without a reservation, we were lucky the lovely young lady on reception welcome us with a warm smile and said she could get us in. Service from the young team was friendly, prompt and professional. . The Oysters were large and very very good . The moules frites portions were big . Crepes Gourmand were amazing . Decor both inside and out was beautiful . Amazing value for money ( Moules Frites €18: Oysters €12: carafe of wine €13: ) . The atmosphere was fun, we got talking to a few people and had a great time sharing information and tips . We even shared oysters with a neighbouring table so they ordered some too. Thanks guys for a unforgettable evening. Sorry we only took pictures of empty plates as we could not wait to tuck in 😂.
