A very warm place, perfect welcome, the details that make the moment special

It was like Christmas came early, a very relaxing and well-maintained place with welcoming owners and a menu worthy of the location.

This is such a lovely hotel and we were sorry only to be able to stay one night. A warm welcome on arrival and a beautiful bedroom to relax in. Even in chilly November the hotel was warm and cosy. Christophe's evening meal, served in front of an open log fire, was absolutely delicious. And we had breakfast in front of the fire the next morning too. Highly recommend and hope to return

We had a wonderful stay at Moulin de Mitou. From the moment we arrived, we were charmed by the warm and unpretentious welcome, which immediately put us at ease. The setting is idyllic, intimate, and perfect for relaxation. The spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated room reflects the attention to detail. The property is impeccably clean, and the place exudes tranquility. Breakfast, while simple, is impeccable and prepared with high-quality ingredients. But it is the evening meal that truly deserves special mention: hearty, flavorful, and made with fresh, local produce. Each dish is generous and perfectly executed. You can taste the passion and expertise behind every plate, making dinner a highlight of our stay. Fatima and Christophe, always attentive and responsive, know how to be present without ever being intrusive, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Another advantage: the hotel is ideally located, just minutes from the Lascaux Cave and other iconic sites of the Périgord Noir region. In short, the Moulin de Mitou is a charming address, perfect for a romantic weekend getaway, where every detail and the quality of the meals contribute to making the experience unforgettable.

We were totally surprised to find such a cozy place with a super friendly atmosphere. Fatima and Christophe gave us a very warm welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. It was simply delicious, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. We highly recommend it.

What a delightful haven of peace! We received a wonderful welcome and then enjoyed a delicious dinner (excellent cuisine). This hotel is absolutely perfect for a stopover, but certainly even more enjoyable for a longer stay. We will be back very soon as the owners are lovely and very professional.
