Friendly staff, but quickly overwhelmed...
The food is good, no-nonsense, the meat is really high quality, the fries are nothing special... but for the price of the full menu, it's still very good value...
Some areas for improvement: the welcome, the seating arrangements, and the wait for tables...
But we'll gladly come back 😊
Very good. For €20 for the set menu, the value for money is truly exceptional. The ingredients are high quality and everything was delicious. The steak was a real treat: tender, melt-in-your-mouth meat, perfectly cooked. The fries are excellent, and the choice between cheese or dessert at the end of the meal is a nice touch.
I had read some reviews mentioning a bit of a wait to be served. It's true that the restaurant is very popular and has a lot of seating, spread over several levels. So, you have to be a little patient. As far as we were concerned, the service was excellent and the wait was perfectly reasonable.
In addition, we were offered coffee, a very kind gesture that shows the warm welcome from the owner.
It's a simple, friendly restaurant where you can eat very well for a very reasonable price. For me, it's a must-try in Saint-Christophe-en-Brionnais. I highly recommend it 😉
Friendly welcome, good food with a €20 set menu including starter, main course, cheese or dessert. The steak was excellent and melted in your mouth (the meat comes from their own butcher shop). I recommend this establishment.
We've never eaten such a tender steak, with delicious fries! Very nice bistro atmosphere. Perfect value for money 👍. We were very warmly welcomed even though we hadn't booked. Thank you
