Friendly staff, reasonable prices. Here you can have a drink and a meal without breaking the bank. One small drawback is the location: the establishment is on a very busy street, but the terrace is shaded and right opposite the market square.

A wonderful discovery. We had a fantastic time at Le National in Ille-sur-Têt. The welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the food particularly delicious. I must admit I find it hard to understand some of the negative reviews, as our experience was so positive. As always, nothing beats trying it for yourself. An address I readily recommend and where I will gladly return.

We were very happy to be served a quality meal after 9 pm. Tapas, burgers, fries, grilled squid and black rice – everything was well cooked and served with friendliness.

I'm not sure but I think they charged us more, we had three dishes and water and the bills don't come out. The food is quality and with very good products

Here there is a tight-knit team with fast service and a good chef in the kitchen. If you want to be sure to enjoy the menu of the day, you should make sure to reserve a seat. It happens that the house is full when traditional dishes are on the menu. Definitely worth recommending as a good local restaurant.

05/10/2026: Over the past 20 years, when I have regularly visited the restaurant, this has been one of the city's popular and good lunch restaurants, which is primarily visited by locals. The house changed hands on April 1, 2025. Today, there were 6 of us who had booked a table. We chose to sit outside. For lunch, we ordered a three-course menu. Before this, a plate of local specialties. We had carpaccio as a starter. Main course. Kidneys with fritters and rock cheese. . Dessert: Apple with whipped cream and caramel sauce. All three dishes were nicely presented and tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you are in these parts and want a good experience - where the locals eat.
24/09/2026: Excellent place, the braised ham was perfect, and the service was very friendly. We will gladly return.
