19/07/2026: Top-notch restaurant! We eat here regularly and always leave delighted (and full!)! The food is excellent, at very reasonable prices! The staff is welcoming and warm, always smiling and full of joyful energy! I recommend it 100%!

Often well-visited in the summer months and their outdoor seating is fully booked.
The menu is small and clear. It has not changed despite several new owners and you should not expect much variety.
On this visit, I chose their menu for 29 euros.
As a starter, a plate with 3 slices of cheese, the same amount of ham, 3 slices of sausage, a little tomato puree and a single slice of bread.
As a main course, a platter with skewers. 3 pieces. I chose beef, kidney and chicken. Well cooked. The beef was still red. As a side dish, a little salad and fries.
The side dishes are of a different quality. Their fries are bland and boring. In my opinion, the worst in town. Why they are cooked this way I have never understood.
Apart from that. Cozy and atmospheric on the terrace.
The service. Hardworking and present.

04/08/2026: Thanks to Google, we were able to have lunch this Tuesday on our way to Matemale. We were drawn to this restaurant by its excellent rating. We arrived without a reservation, received a warm welcome, and found a chic and understated interior, beautifully decorated, which contrasted with an exotic and lush exterior that evoked a sense of travel. Lunch was delightful, right up to my surprising dessert: I chose a lime and ginger sorbet and a scoop of lime and cactus sorbet—an incredible taste discovery. Congratulations to everyone for your meticulous work and beautiful presentation. Thank you.

My husband is allergic to gluten, and the menu was adapted for him.
Highly recommended.

12/07/2026: Friendly staff. They offer set menus at lunchtime, à la carte dishes in the evening, and tapas on weekends. Excellent value for money ☺️
16/05/2026: Very pleasant welcome, simple but very good grilled food.
Only drawback... the organization: 2.5 hours for a main course and dessert...if you have the time, go without hesitation.

25/04/2026: I have only good things to say; a friendly gentleman behind the counter who accepted and understood my French-English with a wink. A white wine with ice for €2.50 was perfectly reasonable. He even came back to my table to ask if everything was alright. I'm extremely satisfied.

25/07/2026: The gentleman who served us was very kind and welcoming, thank you to him. However, the lady was unfortunately very unpleasant, which spoiled our experience. It's a shame, because the place is lovely.
18/07/2026: A very disappointing experience.
The manager is particularly unpleasant and speaks to customers in a disrespectful manner. You feel constantly watched, as if everything you do is being observed and judged. This makes you absolutely not want to return.
The female manager is a bit more cheerful, but the overall welcome remains rather lukewarm. The ice cream is good, but the prices are truly excessive for what is offered.
We had bought sandwiches from the bakery located a little further up in the village and planned to eat them on the terrace while having ice cream and drinks, in order to support several local businesses. In the current climate, supporting the village shops seemed like a positive step. Unfortunately, we were subjected to a series of unpleasant remarks.
In short: a deplorable welcome that completely ruins the experience. We will not be returning and do not recommend this establishment.

27/02/2026: He felt entitled to comment on my appearance when I was just buying bread and hadn't asked for anything. I wonder how someone can be so self-conscious 🤦🏻♀️ The bread wasn't that good; I've tasted better.
