Le Noroit sur Barneville-Carteret

Visited on a Saturday morning with the market in full swing outside. Le Noroit was very busy inside and out, but someone vacated a table on the terrace and we enjoyed a few rounds of drinks and some tasty, well priced main courses. Service was friendly and some English spoken.

This lunchtime, I headed to Le Noroît in Barneville-Carteret… and what a treat! 😍 On the menu: a melt-in-your-mouth leg of lamb in its own juices, served with crispy homemade fries. And to finish on a high note, a delightful surprise for the taste buds: an absolutely delicious Caribbean tiramisu! 🌴🍰 I simply had a wonderful meal. A great place where you can enjoy your food in a pleasant atmosphere. If you're ever in Barneville-Carteret, I highly recommend this culinary escape.

€19 set menu: 3 choices of starter, 2 main courses, 4 desserts. Fast or slow service as you prefer. Excellent fries.

A lovely restaurant in the town center with a fantastic welcome and excellent food at a very reasonable price. The owners have hearts of gold and even did the shopping and delivered groceries to elderly people who were stuck at home during the lockdown. Thank you!

Don't hesitate, it's a great find! We'll definitely be back. Friendly welcome, quality homemade meal at a reasonable price. Bonus: most restaurants in the area are closed on Tuesdays...except for Le Noroit.

A fantastic experience in the heart of Barneville! The steak was delicious, cooked to perfection (rare/medium-rare) with crisp onions, and of excellent quality. The portions were generous, and all for a very reasonable price. The value for money is outstanding. I highly recommend it and will gladly return!
