A perfect welcome from a very friendly team!
The room is beautiful and very comfortable with a very relaxing balcony.
19/04/2026: A very pleasant hotel with discreet and attentive staff. The room we stayed in could use a little updating; the air conditioning was a bit noisy, the electricity worked, but the design was somewhat dated, and USB ports would be a welcome addition. On the other hand, the view of the dunes was lovely, the terrace was pleasant for sunbathing, the bedding was comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable.

15/03/2026: A wonderful weekend experience combining the restaurant and hotel, a gourmet getaway included!
The setting and comfort of the room were very much appreciated, and the staff was helpful and welcoming.
The cuisine was exceptional, and the restaurant offered excellent value for money. This establishment is truly delightful, located on the coastal road with the beauty of the Cotentin peninsula as its backdrop.

Room: simple and functional
Staff: 6/5 (no, I didn't mix up the numbers! ALL the staff were really helpful, friendly, attentive, etc.)
Restaurant: 5/5, absolutely delicious!
Conclusion: I'll be back!

20/04/2026: From the moment we arrived, we were charmed: the small park at the entrance, the warm welcome, the room—everything was perfect.
The tranquility, the view of the marina, the comfortable bedding, and the breakfast (featuring local products) made for a truly delightful weekend in Barneville-Carteret.
The owners are attentive and offer excellent advice.

05/10/2025: A beach bar with a magnificent view! You can sit comfortably and sheltered from the wind, watch the life on the beach, and see all the way to Jersey.
It's self-service, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable.
It's always a pleasure to stop by for a coffee or an aperitif.

03/11/2025: We found this restaurant quite by chance. You can't really see it from the outside. It's a very pleasant place, well laid out. The food is good, the prices are quite reasonable, and the service is good.

13/10/2024: Disfrutamos de una hermosa puesta de sol. El Bouillon de Thai era muy bueno, el assiete bo mol era una buena selección de las frutas de mer. Sin embargo, el pescado a la parrilla como plato principal fue decepcionante, así como los postres, con la excepción del café gourmand. Disfrutamos mucho de la vista y la puesta de sol, pero menos la comida. Cuando la inundación se acerca, debe tener zapatos para atravesar el agua para llegar al estacionamiento o ser capaz de escapar a través de las escaleras a la carretera de arriba! Sin embargo, hay solo unos pocos aparcamientos por encima del extremo norte de la playa.
10/10/2024: Un endroit magique, un accueil sympathique, un service emprunt de gentillesse et d'espièglerie, une cuisine bien faite avec des produits frais de qualité, de belles suggestions, y compris en terme de vins, poisson cuit parfaitement. Tout est réuni pour passer un excellent moment en toute simplicité.
Pas facile à trouver, mais le plaisir se mérite !

30/09/2024: Un petit bar restaurant qui en paie pas de mine mais une vraie découverte pour la cuisine qui y est proposée!
Le chef, oui un vrai chef (!) pas bricolo de passage pour la saison, sait cuire poissons et fruits de mer, les légumes qui les accompagnent sont succulents !
Le tout pour des tarifs très raisonnables et un accueil sympa sur réservation conseillée car les locaux connaissent !
15/07/2024: D'aspect modeste, au centre de Barneville, la cuisine sans prétention est bonne, l'accueil très aimable. Bref, vous ne serez pas déçu.
