A lovely place with very warm service and delicious food. All for a very reasonable price. A restaurant like this is becoming increasingly rare in Biarritz.

A restaurant offering good value for money, but which could stand out by improving its service (only one competent waiter who bustles around trying to do everything), the decor is a bit dated and dusty, and the cuisine is creative but could be enhanced with more attention to preparation, presentation, and ingredient quality. A few fresh and colorful vegetables would be a welcome addition. Overall, a good experience.

Absolutely charming restaurant with delicious options for a set menu. Fantastic server who spoke great English and was really hustling to serve a lot of tables and keep everyone happy. You must make a reservation, as it’s also good value for money. Would definitely go back.

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch at noon and it was delicious. The menu was limited but the food was high quality. The waiter was very friendly. I highly recommend this establishment.

A truly wonderful experience. The cuisine was refined, flavorful, and delicate. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was both professional and relaxed. But shhh... we mustn't spread the word too much, or it'll get too crowded 🤭

À La Bonne Franquette

20/09/2026: Warm welcome, excellent service, smiling and attentive staff, and great food!
16/09/2026: A wonderful discovery made by chance during a stroll! Despite arriving quite late, the welcome was exceptionally warm and attentive. The staff didn't hesitate to prepare a custom-made dish for me, with great kindness. Special mention for the excellent homemade foie gras, a real treat! It's a shame I only discovered this place at the end of my stay… I would gladly have gone back! A place I happily recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
