First off, the location is truly fantastic for a beach holiday, and you can easily spend your entire vacation here as a beach holiday.
We arrived at noon and were delighted to be able to check in right away – check-in isn't usually until 6 pm (it was 4 pm when we booked).
Bed linens and towels arrived later, though.
The staff member was very friendly and helpful, as was the security guard who watches over the resort.
We had booked a premium mobile home for six people, but there were only four of us. The house would have been far too small for six people.
The furnishings are functional, though some are quite worn, and certainly not premium.
The location was good, as we were on the smaller section of the resort – the larger area, where the reception, swimming pool, and restaurants were located, was far too crowded and unappealing for our taste. We were at the beach in five minutes.
The kitchen definitely needs updating soon. We didn't use the microwave; I have no idea if the old appliance still works, but it was definitely not a modern model. We didn't use the coffee machine, but we did use the Nespresso machine, for which we received 4-5 complimentary capsules as a welcome gift.
The kitchen is adequately equipped; we bought a chopping board at the supermarket since there wasn't one provided.
The bathroom and toilet are very cramped, which could be quite difficult for some.
Overall, the resort was appealing, but some improvements are definitely needed. Shade on the playgrounds would be fantastic.
We didn't find the swimming pool appealing at all, but our children did. Luckily, the beautiful beach is just as far away, so it's easy to find an alternative.
What was really annoying was that the rules were interpreted differently by each staff member every day. For example, our three-year-old was allowed to swim for two days wearing the swim trunks we had, but on the third day, they were deemed too long, and he actually had to get out of the water and leave... Teenagers in shorts, however, seemed to be no problem.
The same applied to the rules on the grounds. There were signs, but the staff ignored many of them, no matter how sensible the rule was.
... We wished that rules either applied to everyone at all times or didn't exist at all.
The kids' disco was great, as were some of the daytime activities. The market, unfortunately, wasn't very interesting.
Overall, there's a lot to do here, but above all, you should explore the beautiful surroundings, as the area is truly lovely. If you're lucky, you might even spot flamingos and other birds, as well as countless seashells, within walking distance.
