I stopped by for breakfast while doing laundry at the coin laundry.
This is the store where I learned that if you order bread separately, you will be disappointed.
The taste feels like it's cost-effective, but I think it's highly rated as a filling meal.
This store also had a staff member who loved Japanese people and was very helpful.

Wonderful breakfast and brunch eatery in an off the beaten path location very near the Opera and the Louvre. Fresh pastry choices, coffee and jam options amongst other light fare. Good for a consistent experience. Their cookbook had nice recipes and gave us a great idea for a gift to the bakers and cooks in the family.

The service is quite fast but a little shaky, a lot of oversights and errors.

We just left this cafeteria and when it was time to pay, a very unpleasant waiter (who didn't speak English) wanted to charge us for an EXTRA chocolate pain, which we had not consumed. In short... after paying for a €130 breakfast, he called us liars by telling him that he couldn't charge us for something we hadn't consumed. The site is good, but this man has been very unpleasant when talking to us and calling us liars for being from outside, I have even noticed a racist point on his part.

Efficient service but lacking in smiles. 🙃 Quick service, but the smiles were on short supply.
The typical Le Pain Quotidien ambiance. Nice and cozy, you'll feel right at home. 🛋️✨
Overall, don't expect to be entertained, but all the classic Le Pain Quotidien successes are here. Service could use a little tune-up. 😕🥐 If you're looking for a laugh, you might want to try elsewhere!
