Le Palace Beach sur Menthon-Saint-Bernard

Fantastic experience, beautiful location, great service. Classic structural architecture and room design combined with a modern guest experience. Location on Lake Annecy is ++. Our room was floor 3 facing the lake - moderate temps enabled us to sleep with windows open to smell and feel the cool lake air. Took a fun cycling tour around the lake with a lunch stop in Annecy - quaint, interesting town. Menus were classic French and high quality. Only downside - numerous patrons who smoke cigarettes sitting in public areas. Smell permeates most public spaces, including the indoor bar area, the outdoor balcony area. Be prepared and be patient.

Superb hotel, beautiful location and views

I loved it! The lake view was beautiful, the service was top-notch, and the receptionist was very attentive. You can enjoy a delicious hot chocolate while reading a book. The pool area is very pleasant.

The Palace de Menthon is a hotel that doesn't even need to welcome you to remind you that it's in a league of its own. Impeccable facade, meticulously manicured gardens, a lake view that would put any five-star hotel to shame: everything exudes "grand style" and deep pockets. You get the feeling the place was designed to impress before it even convinces—almost as if the architecture were saying, "You don't have to go in; you already know it's expensive." In short, a palace that makes a statement, that owns it, and that knows perfectly well it has nothing to prove… especially to those who are content to admire it from the outside.

For Mother's Day, we had an idyllic stay on the shores of our beautiful Lake Annecy, a complete change of scenery. Thank you to the entire hotel team for taking such good care of us. This little haven of well-being, gourmet delights, and beauty did us a world of good. We will definitely be back. We had a wonderful time at the beach bar, an idyllic spot with a warm welcome and impeccable service. The manager was very friendly and attentive to his guests. The misting fans were much appreciated in the intense heat. We then had dinner at the hotel restaurant on the terrace with a breathtaking view of the lake. The cocktails there are excellent. Dinner was also very refined and delicious. The head waitress was very friendly and offered us excellent advice. The sommelier guided us in our wine selection and surprised us with his wines. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

An idyllic hotel! Comfortable and well-equipped rooms. Perfect bedding. The only downside: the room wasn't ready until 4 pm, and the breakfast, while good, was standard. One would expect better from an establishment of this type, such as a proper coffee shop and not just office-style machine coffee.
