We stopped by yesterday at lunchtime; there were four of us, and we received a more than friendly welcome! A great atmosphere reigns in this restaurant with a fantastic team! We ate very well; the portions were generous. Thank you for this wonderful experience. How lucky you are to have this restaurant in your beautiful city of Cahors! We highly recommend Le Palais.

A very, very good restaurant. Great atmosphere. The owner is excellent, pleasant, and attentive to customers. I recommend it even for a coffee break. Have a good season.

I came in for a coffee and received a very warm welcome from a truly kind and attentive person. The service was excellent and the atmosphere very friendly and welcoming; you immediately feel at ease. I had a wonderful and relaxing time. Thank you for the warm welcome, I will gladly return 😊

24/05/2026: Large but noisy terrace (next to a busy road) Decent food, nothing exceptional Friendly but inconsistent service (the waiters walk past you 10 times without looking at you, and you have to ask twice for salt and pepper)
17/05/2026: Thank you for your hospitality. Everything was perfect! The service, in particular, was incredibly friendly. It's a welcome change from our home in Savoie, where tourists are openly treated like walking ATMs.

12/07/2026: We chose this restaurant by chance to celebrate my sister's birthday, and what a wonderful surprise! A hearty and delicious meal: a flavorful cassoulet and a generous, gourmet salad. The owner was very attentive, and the waitresses and waiters took excellent care of us throughout the evening. In short, a memorable evening that my sister won't soon forget.
