Le Palais Gourmand sur Laon

Fantastic place for lunch. Quieter side street was much cooler and peaceful. Staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. I had the gallette which was gorgeous and quite filling, at a very reasonable price. Shared a crepe. Very good too. Lunch for 5 was very reasonable in price and variety of meals to cater for all tastes. Excellent place and good value.

A welcome like you've rarely experienced. The galettes were delicious, amazing... absolutely divine! Can't wait to go back. Keep up the good work and don't change a thing.

Enjoying a solo meal on the terrace, I ordered the Chef's special galette, requesting the addition of Maroilles cheese to sample the local flavor. The portion was generous and delicious, showcasing the care and attention the Chef himself had given it. I thoroughly enjoyed it; this is a place not to be missed if you're ever in the hills above Laon.

The welcome and service were very pleasant! The waiter was very attentive and kind. The galettes were well-filled but a little dry, and the sunny-side-up egg was undercooked. The side salad was very good and well-seasoned.

Fantastic restaurant! It was already excellent with Yorick and it still is! The staff is incredibly welcoming, kind, and attentive. And the crepes... mamma mia! I always get the Chavignol and a sweet one with milk sauce: they're a real treat! The interior is also beautifully decorated and cozy, and there's a terrace! Honestly, I highly recommend it! I live in Reims but I always want to make the trip to Laon to go there!

Excellent welcome and really good crepes! Special mention for the King Edward galette, particularly generous and very well made! This place definitely deserves to be better known and I'm delighted with this first restaurant I tried in Laon!

A very warm welcome, friendly and attentive staff. On my second visit, I had a salmon galette (sorry, I don't remember the name) and a crêpe Belle Hélène, and they were delicious! On my first visit, I had salmon tagliatelle, which was also very good. I highly recommend it!
