01/08/2026: Family lunch with a 2-year-old on a Friday. The welcome was fantastic. It was hard to choose as the options were all so tempting. The dishes were sophisticated, made with high-quality ingredients. Everything was delicious. We had a very pleasant time.

The pizzas and other dishes were very good, the service was professional and very pleasant, the restaurant and restrooms were clean, ideally located in the center, but just a little off the beaten path, we were able to enjoy the terrace in peace. We will definitely be back!!

10/09/2026: The steak tartare was excellent. The Landes salad was both high-quality and generous (rich in gizzards, foie gras, and potatoes – unlike some restaurants where you only get salad). The gourmet coffee was delicious. Very good value for money. Worth discovering.

18/08/2026: Excellent experience at Buffalo Grill in Laon! The service was quick, the restaurant was very clean and quiet. The staff were truly warm and welcoming, which made the meal very enjoyable. I highly recommend it!

13/08/2026: August 11, 2026. As a family, we were looking forward to going to this restaurant. It looked promising in the photos. Once there, it indeed looked nice and well-presented; the menu also looked fine, with something for everyone. I saw several steaks listed on the menu. I do like a hearty piece of meat and decided to order one. Not much later, the order was served. I had asked if they could make the steak medium-rare. So, I expected a nice, warm, tender piece of meat. This was a huge disappointment. The steak was not tender—it had a huge amount of tendons in it—but what I found particularly bad is that it was simply cold. As if it had been placed on the grill for 2 seconds on the left side and 2 seconds on the right side straight out of the fridge. This bothered me greatly. I regularly eat steak at various restaurants abroad while on vacation. And for that price, I expect a good piece of tender, warm meat. Unfortunately, it was a waste of the meat and my money.

30/04/2026: Good, slightly dated hotel in the old center of Laon. The reception was particularly friendly, and the owners provided exceptionally nice assistance during the stay. I was allowed to store my bicycle in the hotel garage. The hotel is within walking distance of shops, cafes, restaurants, and the sights. Breakfast is extensive, with delicious jam.

28/04/2026: Excellent welcome at this old-fashioned but clean hotel, very well located in the venerable episcopal city. Everything is a bit crooked, but who cares... the welcome is friendly and the parking spaces are less than fifty meters away.

12/08/2026: Great atmosphere and friendly staff! As a sushi fan and a Japanese food lover in general, I tried this restaurant for the first time today after hearing great things from friends and family. I highly recommend it, it's simply amazing, go for it without hesitation! :)

06/08/2026: I ordered directly from their website for delivery. First, there was an order error; I didn't receive everything, so I waited for them to bring the rest. Then, I ordered beef stir-fried noodles, but they were inedible because they were far too salty. Honestly, for the price, I was disappointed with the quality and quantity.

25/08/2026: Had a lovely family meal here at a lunchtime. The staff were really friendly. We had a baby with us so they told us where we could park a pram and they had a high chair for us to use as well. This came in handy. Plenty of choice with the food and loads of drink choice too. The food was delicious. I myself had the chicken covered in the local cheese as a sauce and would highly recommend it. Very delicious. We all had the crème brûlée as a dessert and it did not disappoint.

09/09/2026: We went to Laon as a family this weekend to break up the drive and have a meal. We chose this restaurant because of its proximity to the cathedral and the medieval old town, planning to take a stroll after our meal. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for that because the service was so slow... incredibly slow. Our aperitif and starter were served quickly. But the main course took almost 45 minutes. Many other customers were getting impatient. Yet the dishes were "simple" and should have been quick. We ended up spending almost two hours at the table. We were very disappointed, and unlike the table next to us, they didn't offer any compensation. We'll go across the street next time.

09/09/2026: A warm welcome from the entire team, with impeccable efficiency and very friendly interactions. And the food! The quality of the galettes and other dishes was PERFECT... Sensational. Very... Generous portions, especially the country burger. Excellent prices considering everything offered and the location. Don't miss it! If you're hesitating... Well done to the whole team.
