We had been wanting to try this iconic restaurant on Place Victor Hugo for a while, and we weren't disappointed. The waitstaff is very professional and pleasant, always attentive and available. The dishes are fresh, homemade, flavorful, and beautifully presented, whether it's the main courses, the lovely salads, or the desserts. At no point did we feel like we were waiting, and on the day of our visit, the restaurant was quite full, yet the service seemed smooth and efficient. The prices are very reasonable, all in a cozy and pleasant setting.

I've been going there regularly for several years. Ideally located, it's very pleasant to eat outside in the shade during the summer (the misting fans make the Grenoble heat bearable). The prices are very reasonable considering the location! You never have to wait too long, even when it's busy. When the children were little, there was always a small gift for them (and a special menu for them). The perfect stop after a morning of shopping ;D

First time here, I didn't have to wait long to be served. A coffee and croissant were reasonably priced at €3.70 and baked fresh on-site! Peaceful and welcoming. I recommend it for those who want to have a drink early in the morning and enjoy some peace and quiet. It really put me in a good mood for the day. I can't comment on the food as I was just passing through in the morning. In any case, the waitress was very pleasant, kind, and smiling! 😊

14/01/2025: Very nice place, clean, spacious, nice background music not too loud. I took the breakfast menu with a hot drink, orange juice, a croissant, 2 slices of bread with butter and jam. Bread and croissant were fresh. The waitress is a very nice lady, welcoming and very polite. I recommend this place while waiting for your train or bus.
16/12/2024: The bread tasted stale but the velouté was great.
