Village Panorama du Pyla Pro ✅ - Very nicely located campsite with a fantastic view of the Dune du Pilat. - Everything is there, more details on the CP pages (small supermarket, children's playground, swimming pool). A food truck comes in the evening. - Pitches of different sizes, also for larger mobile homes. - Internet available throughout the complex for an extra fee. - Excellent, newly paved paths. - Completely rebuilt facility. - Friendly people throughout the CP. Cons ❌ - Unpaved plots (e.g. grass paving stones), soggy when it rains and not very usable (table/chairs) - Garbage disposal in front of the reception, it takes forever (!) to walk away. Absolutely no go. The garbage dump is not clean. - There are no wastebaskets or similar. on the CP. - 1 V/E also only at the beginning of the system. Fresh water hose and rinse water hose for cassettes are disposed of right next to each other...things often get mixed up and you quickly get bacteria. - Price/performance 37€ per day is too high! - The burned trees appear more depressing than beautiful to look at. At some point it would have to be cut down anyway. - No free WiFi! Untimely. - Prices on the complex are all excessive - Unrivaled… - You get identification wristbands when checking in. It's like all-inclusive tourism. On a CP? - Washhouses sometimes smell like sewage. - The CP is unlit at night. - No paved beach access. The path is very steep and you have to find your way up through the sand. Not for older people or families with small children. It's very difficult!

Beautiful location - sportiness required for beach access! ..and the possibility of straightening the camper using ramps (every space is sloping/sloping) =) I have to particularly emphasize the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Everyone really nice.

Beautiful location with a view of the dunes! The trees offer little shade, but the view makes up for it. The supermarket is well equipped. Unfortunately the pitches are very narrow and sandy. A shuttle to Arcachon right outside the door is super practical. Garbage disposal could be closer to the parking spaces. The pool is great for the children. However, the only toilet for the swimming area is not signposted and is hidden in the bar next door...

After a 14-hour drive, we arrived at the campsite in the evening as a stopover on the way to Portugal. Here we were informed that the place was unfortunately full and that we could spend the night in the parking lot and be assigned a place the next morning. So far so good and understandable without a reservation. However, we were charged the full price of €46 for 2 people, a VW T4 and electricity for both nights. However, in the first parking space (parking lot) there was no electricity or anything else. In addition, it smelled like the garbage cans from the adjacent pizzeria and the parking space was otherwise crooked, dirty and difficult to navigate. While walking through the campsite that same evening, we saw a few free spaces where we could easily have stood and moved the next morning. The parking space assigned the next day was much nicer with a view of the dune. The sanitary facilities were always clean, but there was hardly any storage space and no hooks at all to hang up your towel when showering. In retrospect, we were extremely annoyed that we had paid the already expensive regular price for the first night on the dirt pitch. At least a small reduction would have been appropriate to avoid the feeling of being ripped off. If we hadn't been sitting in the car for 14 hours, we would have definitely changed our minds about the whole thing.

Second year for us in this magnificent campsite! A sublime view of the dune and the Banc d’Arguin. The services offered are top notch, such as the cleanliness of the showers/toilets. The kids club was great (Kevin, Clarice, Clément, Emma 🫶🏼) with our 6 year old child. Top entertainment! Really nothing but positives for a great vacation! Thank you to the whole team (from the welcome, to the people who placed us, from the supermarket, to the bartenders) for this year 2024 🫶🏼

After a long search for a campsite in Arcachon and the surrounding area, I came across this place by chance. The course is very hilly and the descent/ascent to the beach is very steep due to the direct connection to the Dune du Pilat. The service and cleanliness was very good. All in all a very nice place with a great view.

Wonderful campsite with varied, international guests. We were very lucky with our spot. More could be offered in the evenings for older kids. Animation not very smooth, if you were late for football you were no longer allowed to participate. Pizzas at the campsite were kind of ready-made and not tasty. Moderate supervision in the swimming pool, especially for young children. Everything else went well. Beautiful.

Very nice place and warm welcome. A little ghostly since the fires, but the most ghostly is the charcuterie board, 10 euros for 5 half-slices of reconstituted white ham, and the same for chorizo ​​and very industrial "country" ham, very disappointing at the gates of the Landes and from the Basque country... Disappointed with the lack of effort.

Nice campsite right next to the dunes. The beach can be reached via two passages. It has a long & steep staircase or you can take the dune directly. The toilet facilities were clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. Bordeaux and Cap Ferret can be reached within 1 hour and are recommended. The organization of the pitches and parking spaces seemed a bit chaotic. And given that certain things haven't been fully assembled since the forest fire, the prices are quite high. All in all, I can recommend the campsite and would come again.
