A busy restaurant serving good food,a pleasant meal.

Shortly after we were shown to our table, I noticed the extensive cheese selection (Grand Chariot des Fromages de France et de notre Région), a selection that is sadly becoming increasingly rare in restaurants. We also thoroughly enjoyed the friendly welcome, the overall ambiance, and the view of the river (hence the name). We were not disappointed with the food we ordered; in fact, we were pleasantly surprised by a Trou Lorraine (apple sorbet with mirabelle liqueur or syrup) and a choice of spirits with our coffee. All of this, of course, came at a price, but one we certainly didn't regret. Compared to other restaurants we've visited in the past, this was a very pleasant surprise.

A truly lovely lady (smiling, welcoming, and professional) greeted us in a rustic, cozy room with a fireplace. The dishes, made with local ingredients, were beautifully prepared, very tasty, and very reasonably priced. The desserts were equally delicious. Homemade cookies were offered as a complimentary treat. A truly wonderful experience that we'd love to repeat!
