Le Papillon sur Gorron

This restaurant is amazing!! We came with friends today and were warmly welcomed. It had a nice feel to it, food was gorgeous, the wine was lovely. Highly recommended!! Even once we were back we were saying how lovely it was. The waiter spoke good English which was nice.

Good food, we didn't stay , so I can't rate the room ... Our friend had fish n chips, he owned a chippy for 45 years and said these were very, very good... My only problem there are the chairs ( they are in the midst of changing them) they offer you a cushion to sit on ... accept it!

I’m not sure why I didn’t know about this place! Mrs P and I decided to treat ourselves to an evening out. We’ve lived in the area for 18months and this was our first visit here. We weren’t disappointed! Greeting was pleasant, service was great and the food was fantastic. We had 3 courses and a bottle of wine so had an all round experience. We will certainly visit again soon.

Aboustly amazing the host was so attentive and spoke very good English he was 5* the food was the best burgers were amazing and the veal steak was out of this world amazing such an amazing place will be back the nest time we are in France thank you so much
