Le Paradis sur Saint-Leon-Sur-Vezere

Camp paradis Dordogne The reception is extremely friendly, helpful and willing to provide information. We can look at the places that are still available and then let us know which one we have chosen. The entire, relatively quiet place makes an excellent impression on me, like a large, well-kept botanical garden, is my first thought. The pitches are firm and level, partly overgrown with grass, partly sandy, marked out by hedges, shaded by trees, and have electricity and water in the immediate vicinity. Sanitary building A is modern, functional, spacious and very clean. All the necessary equipment is available in the toilets, as are sinks with soap and disinfectant. The temperature in the showers and washrooms can be regulated, but the pressure cannot. The extensive area includes, among other things, a pool area, several play areas for children with interesting play equipment, a tennis court and Kettcar rental, a soccer field..., a supermarket and a restaurant with an attractive menu. The price-performance ratio is excellent, we paid €24.40 per night with an ACSI card for a motorhome, two people including electricity and WiFi.

Super campsite with owners who have a passion for the profession and run the campsite with a lot of love. Beautifully landscaped large areas, flower gardens, a real bamboo forest and a fantastic swimming pool for the children. The camping restaurant is of excellent quality and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Plenty of entertainment for the children aged 7, 10, 11 and 15. The bands that came to play in the evenings were really fantastic with a top 2000 rehearsal director, something for everyone. The area has plenty to offer to see or do. All in all highly recommended

We have had a wonderful stay at Le Paradis mid August, 2024. The site is beautiful, is very well maintained, clean, with beautiful flowers and other vegetation. Pool and animation team, five stars, great for kids and adults, thanks! Restaurant was very good, nice food, great staff, some very fun activities in the evening. Shop has some very high quality stock, good selection of bread and croissants. Guests nice mix of different nationalities (Netherlands, British, French, German). All very civilised and great fun. Thanks for an amazing stay - we very much look forward to coming back!

Great campsite, clean, beautiful pitches, varied vegetation, flowers, a beautiful playground, a spa... we had a great holiday there.

Camping Le Paradis It is, without a doubt, the best campsite we have ever experienced. Nestled in the heart of the stunning Dordogne region, the campsite's surroundings are beautifully maintained, offering a serene and picturesque setting that made our holiday truly unforgettable. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were always on hand to offer assistance, share local tips, and ensure that everything ran smoothly. What really set this campsite apart were the fantastic activities available for the children. There was never a dull moment, with a wide range of fun and engaging activities that kept the kids entertained and happy throughout our stay. Whether it was exploring the nearby nature trails, splashing in the pool, or participating in organized games, the campsite provided endless opportunities for adventure and enjoyment. We can’t recommend this campsite highly enough. It’s the perfect destination for families seeking a blend of relaxation and adventure in one of France’s most beautiful regions. We can’t wait to return!

We only spent 3 nights at this campsite and I only want to go back! It is very well located, all the interesting visits to do are really close to there, and the town of Saint Léon is very beautiful. As for the campsite, I only have good things to say about it: the pitches are spacious, clean, and very flowery. The water is drinkable everywhere, you can pick your aromatic herbs in a small, well-kept garden, I find the idea incredible! The sanitary facilities are very clean and comfortable, the staff are very friendly with a nice atmosphere between them and the prices are affordable everywhere! The swimming pool is very large and the games for children are fun, jacuzzi sauna and hammam are even free! As you will have understood: I will come back!

Large camping pitches. Great location.

Been here twice, back in 2017 thereabouts, lovely grounds, lots of Dutch people, very cold nice Stella in the bar , coffee in the bar in the morning always very nice, served by a more mature lady (Odile/ Odette?). I won the quiz night there once . Was very very hot , the pools are excellent, probably too many wasps around the pool area for my liking , surrounding area is some of the most beautiful countryside on Earth, go into St Leon and you will find a gem of a restaurant . All in all, a lovely place to stay but beware if you book a Eurocamp Safari tent you will be cooked alive as they are placed in the area with no shade at all.
