Le Paris sur Metz

My first dining spot in Metz! I went there based on an AI recommendation, and it was a place that served authentic French course meals. Except for me, everyone else was a local. Just as I had heard about French people, they lingered at their tables for a very long time, chatting, eating, and enjoying dessert and coffee. It looked so cool that I tried to imitate them. The server was incredibly kind, and perhaps because the other guests were curious about an Asian woman dining alone, they looked at me with warmth, smiled, and took care of me, making for a very pleasant dining experience. Everyone working there smiled whenever we made eye contact and was so friendly. Needless to say, the food was excellent. Everything—from the dishes and desserts to the final espresso—was perfect! It is a bit pricey, but I thought it was reasonable for a restaurant of this caliber. It was a warm restaurant that created a wonderful time for me. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to try authentic French cuisine.

We had lunch here today as a couple for the first time, and it was fabulous in every way! We ordered the daily special (the trio of lobster, prawns, and scallops) with vegetables and roast potatoes, and it was delicious. For dessert, the gourmet coffee was excellent. We didn't order a starter, and we're glad we did because the portions were very generous! The menu is small, which is a sign of quality and expertise in the dishes. The staff is really friendly, and the restaurant is tastefully decorated. The proximity to the Coislin parking lot is a real plus! We will definitely be back.

Everything we ordered was delicious, and the portions here are very generous. For appetizers, we had the Iberico, escargot, and foie gras. All were really good. My main was a pork dish, don’t remember the name. It was extremely tender and you didn’t even need a knife to eat it. My son had the beef tartare which was great, and my daughter had the salmon tartare, which was okay. I’d definitely recommend the beef over the salmon. My wife had some sort of seafood platter, and that was also good. They also gave us huge bowls of potatoes and a salad to go along with the meal. I’d definitely recommend this place.

Very friendly and attentive staff. The food was excellent, fresh, and exactly as ordered. I highly recommend it. Located right next to the parking lot and near the Mercure Hotel.

Privacy on the terrace behind a small hedge. Pleasant and smiling waiter and waitress. Excellent fisherman's platter... I recommend it with a white Sancerre.

There was a bit of a wait between courses (likely due to the high volume of customers), but the quality of the ingredients and the cooking were incredible. The price is more than justified for such delicious food.

Excellent restaurant! The dishes are delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff is friendly. The only slight drawback is the somewhat slow service. That said, the wait is more than compensated for by the quality of the food. A truly great place that I highly recommend!

A French restaurant located on the edge of the old town. The dishes we chose were carefully prepared and delicious. Limited advice, but good service. On the pricier side, especially the expensive wines. Overall, though, still justified and recommendable.
