Le Parmentel sur Le Ban-Saint-Martin

Unlike some self-proclaimed food critics who seem to think a restaurant must necessarily reflect their personal tastes to be considered "worthwhile," the menu here has the merit of possessing a genuine identity and offering something coherent and well-crafted. We come to a restaurant to discover a cuisine and an atmosphere, not to impose our own desires on the chef… For the rest, a very pleasant discovery: a particularly lovely terrace, tasteful and elegant decor, and a warm atmosphere without being pretentious. The service is efficient, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. The dishes are well-prepared, refined, and balanced, with a few discreet but expertly executed Asian touches that bring a real originality to the whole experience. A place clearly worth recommending, both for the setting and the food.
