Le Parvis sur Laon

Very nice experience, excellent cuisine. A discovery for us who are passing through Laon. Thank you very much for your welcome.

On the cathedral square to the sound of the bells, we always end up here when we haven't booked elsewhere

2 meals taken the weekend of September 14 and 15. The welcome is very friendly. 2 dishes tested: duck and beef. The cooking was perfect. Facing the cathedral with magnificent sunshine, I couldn't dream of a better way to discover Laon.

Nice restaurant (also hotel) directly opposite the famous cathedral. It's amazing that the overall rating is only 3.6. We were very satisfied. Delicious food at a reasonable price, great views of the cathedral and friendly, attentive staff at all times. Tres bien!

It's so much easier for human beings to complain and bitch behind a screen, pouring out scorn and hatred after the fact when ALL the prices are posted everywhere. If it doesn't suit your wallet, why force yourself to come? Restaurateurs face the full spectrum of humanity every day, with all their moods and difficult characters, and should continually accommodate everyone's desires and whims. Waitresses are not servants, that's the nuance. When you go shopping in a supermarket you don't go there at 11 p.m. throwing a tantrum because the store is closed and you wanted to do your shopping at this time because YOU had decided to?! Well a restaurant is the same, there is an organization like in all businesses and if you don't want to comply with the rules, it's not up to the staff to suffer. It would be time to take a step back and walk in other people's shoes before criticizing the life's work of certain people who have been in the profession for more than 20 years. Comment from a restaurateur tired of humans of all origins.

Lack of freshness, excessive value for money

Restaurant très bien situé en face de la cathédrale! Patron très serviable. Plats en bonne quantité et prix très corrects. Personnel bien poli et courtoi.

Despite quality cuisine next time I will only have desserts

Facing the cathedral, it is ideally located. Too bad the atmosphere among the waiters and owners is gloomy. No smile. We had a drink on the terrace in front of the majestic cathedral, before being kindly thanked to make way for the evening service.
