Le Parvis sur Laon

We stumbled upon this restaurant while visiting the cathedral across the street, and it was a delightful surprise. The quality of the food, drinks, and desserts was top-notch. The prices are reasonable for what you get. The only downside was the manager's rude behavior towards the waiter and waitress following a payment error for which she herself was responsible. The waiters, however, were very pleasant.

We came a few years ago with the children and hadn't had the chance to return. We tried the Valentine's Day meal yesterday. A warm welcome. Not noisy. Great location, not too close together, the tables are spaced out. A smiling, professional waiter, very attentive and with good wine recommendations 😉. A very friendly waitress who cleared the table. As for the food, the plates were beautifully presented, superb, and very generous, but above all, the cuisine was very refined and flavorful, a surprising mix of sweet and savory flavors. The meat was excellent and tender, despite my request for it well-done 🤤. A Valentine's Day menu with several choices is very nice for picky eaters like me, who managed to find a starter, main course, and dessert. We were delighted with our evening and will be back very soon. And that view of the cathedral was a nice bonus. Thank you to the whole team.

Friendly and fast service. Dishes I wasn’t expecting such as a rabbit white pudding, and classics such as maroilles pie. Delicious pear with red wine sauce.

A restaurant I discovered by chance, and what a delight! The service and welcome were very pleasant, with a touch of humor! Thank you to the waiter and to Marie, with whom we were able to relax. It's true that it wasn't very busy. The dishes were delicious, perfectly paired with the wine. Another big THANK YOU to Marie for her thoughtful care of Tianzi, our little Coton de Tulear!
