Almost the only restaurant open on Sunday evening in this town which seemed sadly abandoned even though it was described by Victor Hugo as superb. Travelers, stop in Laon! Le Parvis welcomed us with a local and “homemade” menu. Fast and very good service, just what was needed before returning to Belgium. THANKS! THANKS! I hope that your city could relaunch the funicular to revitalize the city center, re-open beautiful small businesses and attract tourists.

Very nice restaurant with a beautiful terrace on the square in front of Laon Cathedral. Warm, smiling, friendly and welcoming staff. Fast service. Starter + main course and dessert for 20 euros. Scallop ravioli, homemade shepherd’s pie and homemade flan. It was really good For once I skipped the photos but the presentation was great and made me want it.

Very good artisanal cuisine. Table indoors or on the terrace with a view of the cathedral. Free parking 100 meters away. Good value for money. To try.

Fast and perfect service despite many guests. Had an excellent tasting tartare de boeuf. Fine coffee from a good brand. We were very satisfied!

Very pleasant and friendly restaurant. The food is good and the wait is very acceptable. The prices are reasonable for the quality. I recommand it.

Very pleasant moment facing the cathedral. Very friendly waitresses, and the meal was excellent, right down to the Irish coffee ☑️

Excellent view of the cathedral. Great location across the cathedral square and a short walk to the city center. Good atmosphere and great food.

L'Hotel de La Banniere

21/01/2024: Hotel in the heart of the medieval city of Laon. Very warm and friendly welcome The rooms are more vintage style, which doesn't appeal to everyone but it's still charming. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, I advise you not to miss it because it was perfect: inexpensive and really very good. The staff also put together an impromptu “kids menu” for our little one, which is always nice!! So we say thank you for this stay :)
22/12/2023: Really nice area, the hosts are very friendly and the food was great.
