Great restaurant and setting! The service is also very friendly. However, regarding the chef… shakshuka is a true dish with a specific recipe and a history. It's fine to put a twist on a dish, but you should specify what it is, or at least name your dish differently (vegetable stir-fry with hard-boiled egg, for example).

I must solemnly commend Le Passage à Niveau, which reminded me that true institutions do more than simply nourish the body; they also test even the most firmly held moral convictions. Having come to share dinner with my former partner, within the perfectly reasonable and mature framework of a relationship now limited to a noble friendship, I expected a peaceful evening. Two bottles of wine later, it would seem that this friendship was interpreted with an enthusiasm that neither we, nor Sebastian, our delightful waiter, had initially suspected. Sebastian, whose professionalism is matched only by his kindness, was clearly convinced he was attending a romantic rendezvous. He seated us at a particularly charming table, offered us a wine tasting with almost liturgical solemnity, and then concluded this oenological ascent with a complimentary shot. Impeccable hospitality that deserves the highest praise. It would, of course, be inappropriate to go into detail about the events that followed our departure from the establishment. Let's just say that Le Passage à Niveau is such a welcoming setting that it sometimes seems to foster reconciliations that even the strictest moral code would have forbidden. I condemn this regrettable lapse of character in the strongest possible terms… while acknowledging that it was preceded by an excellent meal, impeccable service, and an absolutely fantastic atmosphere. Therefore, I award five stars, not without a certain gravity. I came to dine as a virtuous citizen; I left with an existential crisis, some excellent gastronomic memories, and the demonstration that one should never underestimate the combined effects of a very good wine, a delightful waiter, and a far too romantic table setting.

A very good restaurant, the atmosphere is lovely when the weather is nice, with a beautiful terrace. The food is good, with a very extensive menu and daily specials that seem to change quite often. The vegetarian options are pretty good. The servers are very pleasant.

Great food, remarkable place, great concept and atmosphere but unfortunately a bit chaotic or maybe understaffed service that resulted into waiting long for each course / round of drinks.

Nice setting but slow and disorganized service. The staff, however, were friendly. The food was fairly simple and generally satisfactory, but quite expensive. And the desserts were very basic.

The food was average, nothing exceptional in terms of the dishes offered or their quality. I found the prices too high for what was served. The place is nice, which is the first thing that catches the eye.

Hidden gems are hard to find in such a busy city, this is one of them! Peaceful patio where kids can play on the abandoned railroad. The food was exquisite, most of it sourced in the garden nearby.

Excellent restaurant! Great welcome, with a wide variety of choices (meat, fish, vegetarian), as well as very good starters and desserts. The place is very pleasant and the prices are reasonable.
