My girlfriend and I used to dine at this restaurant, and everything always went well.
Tonight we went, and everything went well except for a few minor details.
I asked for two tarte flambée options and the drinks.
Being allergic to onions, I always ask for halves without them. It was time to order the last tarte flambée, which I asked for entirely without onions because my girlfriend wanted dessert. The order was noted, but the kitchen didn't take the necessary steps properly. The order arrived, so of course I received a whole tarte flambée with onions... (but that's not the most annoying thing)...
So I kindly told the other waiter about the problem in front of me, and he told me he'd bring me another half without onions—very nice, by the way! When it came to checkout, I paid directly without checking the receipt because I trusted this waitress; we come here often... but apparently the information didn't get through. I was charged for all the tartes flambées without the specials, as well as the additional half tarte flambée... and I went back to the counter to explain the situation, and she replied, and I quote, "It's been charged, there's nothing more we can do."
In other words, be very vocal when announcing your meals, or you'll get a hefty bill.
The rest was perfect.
