Le Patio sur Cherbourg-Octeville

We ate here on a Saturday evening after a long sail from Southampton. We had visited previously and had really enjoyed it. This visit did not disappoint. The food was again excellent - full of flavour and beautifully presented. We both had the Charolais steak, which was cooked to perfection (saignant, of course!), and accompanied by a rich tasty jus and roasted vegetables. Starters of veal medallions and salt and pepper crusted salmon were equally delicious. Service was professional and friendly, and very efficient. The wine list may have also been excellent, but when we asked nicely whether we could bring our own wines (as we did last time) we were able to do this, so did not need to consult their list. All in all, this was again an amazing evening: outstanding food, friendly and efficient service, with the option of the “droit de bouchon” (corkage) as well. Chapeau, Le Patio!

Very nice discovery between friends, the dishes are as advertised, of high quality, the tastes are very well matched, always a little "wow" to each of them, really excellent work in the kitchen. The staff is very pleasant and relaxed, no rush, perfect. The setting is very refined and pleasant. Very good address, don't hesitate.

We enjoyed an excellent turbot with artichoke and faux fillet with dauphine potatoes. Totally recommended!!
