Review 2026: Always a pleasant evening spent with friends. The dining room is very comfortable. The menu is excellent. Updated review 2024: A very good place. The menu is excellent and the wine selection is interesting. Two price ranges for the set menus allow you to treat yourself according to your budget. Cozy atmosphere and impeccable service. Very pleasant staff. Dining on the terrace under a palm tree was lovely! They offer service quite late into the evening, which is convenient if you're finishing drinks late.

Service and cuisine that deserve to be at the top of the rankings

The setting is beautiful, calm, and truly pleasant, but it's a bit pricey for what you get. The dishes are relatively simple, not as elaborate as one might expect from a restaurant like this.

The decor is beautiful and the restaurant is spacious. Regarding the service, we were approached several times with dishes we hadn't ordered. There were also a few missteps in the food. The monkfish was cold and had to be sent back, and the desserts were also disappointing due to a lack of flavor. My dish was rather bland, lacking spices and flavor. The prawns were good, but there were no vegetables with the rice to add any depth to the dish, which was a shame. I was quite disappointed, especially since the restaurant had generally good reviews.

While the atmosphere and setting at Le Patio’nnément are quite pleasant, our overall dining experience was disappointing. We visited as a group hosted by Audencia Business School, and unfortunately most of us left unsatisfied. The staff appeared overwhelmed, with essentially one person trying to serve a large number of guests, so the service was not great. The food was particularly disappointing, especially considering the high standards of French cuisine — it was honestly the worst meal we had in Nantes. Several of us ordered the fish, and some couldn’t even finish it. The variety of desserts was also below average by French standards. Overall, despite the nice setting and décor, the food and service did not meet expectations, and I wouldn’t choose to return

The gentleman at reception was not very friendly. He was like a prison gate. Our reservation was cancelled despite a confirmation email sent the day before. The starters were good, but the monkfish dish was bland, the vegetables waterlogged, and the fish and side dishes were cold and watery—probably frozen! The desserts were also uninteresting. The food and service need serious improvement! However, the staff were pleasant.

Good food at a reasonable price. There was a large table nearby, so the wait was a little long, but understandable. I recommend it.
