We had already enjoyed the Pavillon Gouffern during a Jaguar Club meeting a few months prior. This time, in January, we booked the entire venue for a birthday party for 97 people, including family and friends. The assistance provided by the Pavillon Gouffern team was truly outstanding, both in terms of arranging the lounges and dining room, and in booking all the rooms in the Pavillon. Our guests loved the venue, and the availability and professionalism of the manager, Pauline, greatly contributed to making the evening a resounding success. We highly recommend this venue to anyone planning a party with friends in the area.

Staying at this guesthouse is like stepping back in time. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, where every detail invites relaxation. Settled by the fireplace, we savored a moment far removed from the everyday. Watching the deer at breakfast added an almost magical touch to the experience. For one night, we felt like we owned a charming, intimate, and elegant home. The exceptionally warm welcome makes all the difference: the hostess generously shares her passion for her work, making the stay authentic and deeply personal. An enchanting interlude that we wholeheartedly recommend.

One of the most magical places we have ever stayed! The Normandy version of Balmoral! The setting couldn’t be more beautiful with lawns fanning out to avenues of woodland. The weather was cold and frosty so Pauline, the Manager prepared us a simple supper so we didn’t have to venture on the icy roads. Pauline also provided a delicious breakfast. The rooms were sumptuous with crisp sheets and lovely toiletries, with lovely views. The fire was lit for us both morning and evening. We felt so well looked after by both Vincent the owner and Pauline - they couldn’t have done more to make us more comfortable and feel so welcome. It's truly a magnificent place! The entrance, first of all, through this several-hectare forest, is splendid, especially under the snow. The telephone reception and customer service (due to extreme weather conditions) are top-notch. The welcome on-site is very professional. Pauline, the manager, is wonderful! She loves her job, and it shows! From morning till night, she takes excellent care of her guests. The place is full of lounges for relaxing, eating, or having breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and well-decorated, with good bedding. I highly recommend this beautiful place for a relaxing getaway as a couple or for your wedding! Thank you, Pauline!

We spent two nights at the Gouffern Pavilion. The place is beautiful and peaceful. Since it was winter, we enjoyed the very cozy fireplace. The welcome was warm and friendly. We highly recommend it and hope to return. Photo taken from our room early in the morning
