Le Pekin sur Lille

I stopped by last night and had a wonderful time, as usual. I much prefer this small, old-fashioned Chinese restaurant that offers traditional and comforting dishes. The appetizers and main courses are generous and delicious. I had samosas and Peking duck—a real treat! I didn't have dessert, so I can't comment on that. The lady who serves is very efficient and quick, and very attentive to her customers. A very pleasant and peaceful experience that left me feeling refreshed.

I ate at Pékin a few weeks ago; the atmosphere is quite nice. After a short wait, my order was taken. For starters, I had pork spring rolls, which were excellent! For my main course, I ordered steamed dumplings, which were also good. However, as a side dish, I ordered noodles, and they were really bad—they had an off-flavor and were inedible. I mentioned this at the end of the meal, but didn't really get a response or offer a solution.

Craving Chinese food. I chose my favorite chicken curry. With it, a kind of fried rice, Peking style. The curry isn't that expensive, 8.50, and the fried rice is 7.50. The curry sauce was a bit on the thick side but tasted good; I did ask for sambal to make it a bit spicy. A bottle of water for 3.20. It wasn't busy and the meal was on the table in no time. Overall, I had a fine meal. [It was quite quiet, but people were talking very loudly on the phone]

It's simple, it's good, the owner is friendly… It's a sure thing; my review is based on about ten visits, so I have some perspective. Highly recommended!

Without any exaggeration, it's very good. They consistently deliver high-quality products. Well located and reasonably priced.

A typical Chinese restaurant. Very tasty noodles. The duck with pineapple was not tasty. The rice with egg is impossible to spoil. The pork is quite fatty. But I think that's how it should be. Overall, satisfactory. But I won't go back there next time.

The food is amazing and the lady that serves us is so nice and sweet, great place to come in Lille if you love Chinese cuisine
