I came to eat here with my father after just arriving to aix en provence and was greeted with amazing service. The food is at the classic authentic standard of french cusine with a custom menu as frequent as can be. Highly recommend when taking a seat outside.

We had a lovely evening at Le Petit Bistrot. The welcome was warm, and the staff were friendly, smiling, and efficient throughout the meal. We enjoyed a generous bacon burger made with quality ingredients, a salmon tartare with delicious homemade mashed potatoes, and a beef tartare served with excellent homemade hash browns. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and the value for money is excellent. Based on our experience, we are surprised by the current rating of 3.8, which doesn't reflect the quality of the meal and service we received. We hope that more recent reviews will better highlight this restaurant. A great find that we happily recommend!

16/08/2026: Yesterday, August 15th, there were four of us for the Feast of Saint Mary. Everything started well, but when the €14 desserts were served, it was a disaster. The mille-feuille and tiramisu were almost entirely mascarpone. A complaint was filed with the hotel manager. The pastry chef was terrible.
10/08/2026: Delicious and well-prepared dishes. Prices are average for a quality restaurant. Quality service, attentive and responsive to customers' wishes. A comfortable, air-conditioned dining room, though without a particular view. A restaurant to recommend.

Les Fils à Maman Aix en Provence

27/07/2026: Despite the waitress's kindness and helpfulness, being alone to serve the entire restaurant at 12:30 wasn't enough. Fortunately, her colleague arrived at 1:00 PM to help out. We waited 45 minutes for our order to be taken. The portions were generous and beautifully presented, and the value for money was excellent.
27/07/2026: Very good restaurant, the service was quick and excellent, and yet there were only two of them.
